It was sometime last month when I first caught a glimpse of Hello Kitty items inside the flagship store of Lock & Lock in Eastwood Mall. I was naturally gravitated inside the store to check them out! Lock & Lock has turned into one pink Hello Kitty heaven. The hubby ever so sweetly indulged me as I went from one stand to the next. Truly an eye-candy for any Hello Kitty follower.

Imagine my delight when I received an invite to the launch of the Hello Kitty Collection of Lock & Lock at Edsa Shangri-la. No, I wouldn’t pass this up for anything. I may not have a girl for a child but this Hello Kitty-loving little girl in me is giddy over the Sanrio character nonetheless.
Hello Kitty, the world’s most iconic cat-like character, brings a new, cute experience every meal time as Lock&Lock launches its newest LockLock Hello Kitty Collection of food containers and tumblers in the Philippines.

“Everyone around the world knows who Hello Kitty is and the character has had a strong following for many years. Now, we are integrating this brand into our high-quality food containers so that kids and kids at heart will be able keep their food in reliable containers while spreading joy and happiness characterized by this character,” shared Raphael Chua, President of Lock & Lock Philippines.
I may not have a little girl who can make use of the pretty Hello Kitty tumblers and food keepers. But these are so pretty, I can make use of them to organize my stuff. It’s always nice for a girl to have her very own closet.

Lock&Lock Hello Kitty Collection organizers brought fun for the whole family during the launch. There were face painting, loomband making, food preparation demos. There was even a cupcake decorating contest for us, mommies. I wouldn’t have guessed that I’d bag the first prize. I just kind of channeled back into the little girl in me as I decorated my cupcake with sprinkles, candies and marshmallows. It was so fun I wished I had a little girl to share it with.
